Sandpiper Beach Resort - Important Policies

We're pleased you've booked your stay with us. These are a few things to keep in mind as the date of your beach visit approaches.

Check-in time is between 4:00 - 9:00 PM. Please call to make arrangements if you will be checking in after 9:00 PM. Check-out time is prior to 11:00 AM.

Our room rates are based on 2 occupants per unit, depending on the specific unit. We charge for additional room occupants as follows:

  • Additional Adults — $15.00 per night
  • Children (up to age 14) — $10.00 per night
  • Pets — $15.00 per night (per each pet, maximum of 3)
  • One time flat rate cleaning fee $20.00 

To hold your reservation, we will charge a deposit equal to one night’s base room rate, plus taxes, and a one time cleaning fee of $20.00 to the credit card you provided when booking the room. We accept only Visa or Mastercard at this time.

Deposits for most of our units are fully refundable, minus a $15 cancellation fee, with 14 days notice of cancellation in advance of your stay. To cancel, please contact us by phone or email. Note that deposits for our larger accommodations (Units 11, 12, 46, 47, and 50, and Cabins A and 4) are only 50% refundable, minus a $15 cancellation fee, with 14 days notice of cancellation in advance of your stay. With less than 14 days notice of cancellation, all deposits are non-refundable .  

The balance for your accommodations will be due upon check-in. Reservations which are not completed due to early check-out will be charged for one additional day beyond the departure date. No-shows will be charged the base rate plus tax for the entire stay.

Smoking is not permitted in units or cabins at the Sandpiper. We ask that guests who must smoke do so outside, in areas where other guests will not encounter any smoke. We will assess a $100 fine for any evidence of smoking indoors.

We welcome your pets! For their safety, and that of other guests and our staff, we ask that you keep them leashed while on the resort grounds, and avoid leaving them unattended in your unit or cabin. Please take advantage of the complimentary pet-waste bags and trash cans throughout the grounds to dispose properly of your pet’s waste, and use the dog-washing stations to wash away sand before returning to your unit or cabin. Dog towels are available upon request in the main office. We will assess a minimum $100 fine for any evidence of pet damage to the rooms.
